This site is a working farm on a very busy road so some noise of traffic.Cant walk dogs from the site due to busy road.
Dog walks nearby Battram Woods. Loads of wide grassy paths to walk round. From Battleflat site turn right, then left at the T junction, then 1st right and 1st right again (to Battram village). Woods at end of road with a free parking area.
A short dog walk is to turn right out of site, and before T junction park by a row of cottages. Across the road is a small wooded area with gravel paths.
Another good place for dog walking is Bradgate Deer Park, very close to Tomlinsons. A couple of miles further east is a huge retail park and a massive Tesco.
5 miles from the site is a big caravan dealers, handy for camping supplies (at Shepshed).
